Flamingo Beach Costa Rica - FIshing, Eating, and Sleeping..........

I can attest to the Margaritaville like feel of the beaches of Flamingo an Potrero in the Guanacaste area of Costa Rica.  The beaches are long with wide expanses and have elbow room that goes on forever.  The boat below is what I was able to fish from and caught trophy roosterfish, amberjack, and numerous skipjack relatively close to shore.  That was great, but the trip out to the sea would have been worth it alone after being able to see a huge Manta Ray gliding through the sea and breaking out of the surface of the water as the waves went up and down....the Manta Ray was probably about 50 yards from the boat and made a thunderous sound as it landed back on top of the sea surface.

Has anyone ever been to any of these surf schools? I've been to Costa Rica a number of times and fished near Tamarindo but never tried to surf. I would definetly need some pointers in trying to get myslef into a wave and ride it....recommedations for any of these surf schools?
